300 gram okra(ladies finger)
1-2 red chilli
2 tsp curd
1 tsp urad dal
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1 lime size jaggery
1 small lime size tamarind
a pinch of asafoeida
salt to taste
1 tsp rice powder
  • Cut the okra very small thin round slices.
  • Soak the tamarind in 1/4 cup water and extract the juice.
  • Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds when they cracked add urad dal ,red chilli whole ,hing and vegetable ,fry for few minutes and add the tamarind juice ,salt ,cook for few minutes,when the vegetable cooked add jaggery when it dissolve add the rice powder in a little water and add it in the vegetable ,simmer the fire till the mixture get thick,
  • Remove from fire when it cool add the curd mix well and serve.
